Roots Café in Northvale caters to the active, health-conscious crowd, using all raw foods and no processed ingredients. Its Primal Pizza is a big hit with customers, co-owners Dean Orfas and Jodi Sardanis said; its crunchy crust is made from cauliflower, pine nuts, sun-dried tomatoes and Italian spices and topped with cashew cheese, home-grown basil and either homemade tomato sauce or pesto.
